Martin Wallace, Liberty Photo Photography
Hi, I’m Martin Wallace, the wedding photographer behind Liberty Photo Photography. Based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, I am proud to offer my wedding photography services to couples throughout Hitchin, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and the surrounding areas.
My photography journey began back in 1984, when I first picked up a camera and started studying the art of capturing moments. I quickly immersed myself in the world of film photography, setting up my own darkroom and working as a darkroom technician, refining my craft in those early years. My initial focus was on street photography and art photography, capturing candid moments and the essence of life as it unfolded.
As I grew older, my work evolved into portrait photography, where I learned to capture the personality and emotion of my subjects. After a brief break during the late 1990s, I rediscovered my passion for photography, delving into wildlife, sports, and landscape photography. This experience gave me the ability to react quickly and capture fast-moving moments—skills that I now bring into my wedding photography. Whether it's the fast-paced action of a wedding or the subtle, intimate moments between a couple, I’m always ready to capture the perfect shot.
As a wedding photographer, I use candid wedding photography and documentary-style wedding photography, focusing on natural moments, emotions, and the unique story of each wedding day. I believe the most beautiful moments happen unexpectedly, and it’s my job to capture those moments so you can cherish them forever.
